Toro showcased at
dealer demo days

Toro’s latest and most popular machines for all purposes and surfaces were showcased in a couple of successful demo days by Devon Garden Machinery and Reesink this summer.

Bringing Toro's latest and most popular machines to customers in Devon and Cornwall in a couple of successful demo days, Devon Garden Machinery (DGM) welcomed prospective and existing customers to showcase – and provide the opportunity to use – a range of Toro machines, some of which had never been seen before in the South West.

Steve Dommett, managing director of DGM, says: “These events enable us to get the products in front of more customers in the limited time that they are available to demonstrate. We were keen to give customers the opportunity to use a range of Toro machines so they could see for themselves the quality and innovative technology.”

Over 30 attendees from the fine turf and grounds markets came to each venue, with one Cornish club who couldn’t make its local event travelling to Devon instead such was the appeal of seeing and trialling the Toro machines and using the opportunity to network.

On show was the ProLine H800, Outcross 9060, Groundsmaster 1200, GreensPro 1260, Greensmaster 1021, Workman GTX-E, Reelmaster 3575-D and Workman HDX-D, with Steve saying: “The unique Outcross 9060 created a lot of interest.”

Reesink’s John Pike who worked with DGM to arrange the event and attended says: "These roadshows are a fantastic way for dealers and customers to get 'hands-on' with the latest machines, network with industry peers and hear about what's going on from experts in the field. As well as top tips on Toro operating techniques, there's the opportunity to demo machines some of which are brand new to the UK."
